Project 52: Week 39 ~ Sweet

We attempted melons again this year in our garden and for the first time we have been harvesting large juicy watermelons and soft SWEET cantelope!!  Our first watermelon weighed in at around 15 pounds.  We have eaten 3 more since, all just as big or bigger! YUMM.....

Project 52: Week 38 ~ Outside the Lines

With my three littles at home this year I have been trying to go outside the lines and take some time aside and do something with them every day.  Just to get away from the daily grind for a short time even to have story time, build a train track for them to play with or print some activities for them.  They just love it! Today we painted some paper plate apples and also had story time!

Project 52: Week 37 ~ Emotion

It is always with mixed emotions that I send the kids on the big yellow bus after the summer is over....

 

But as you can see, they are all very excited.  Mr. N. on the end is just starting kindergarten this year!
