Project 52: Week 51 ~ Cold

We have had unseasonably cold weather this December.  Hoping it warms up a little bit so the kids can enjoy the outdoors over the Christmas break!  We are going to spend some time with G&G this year.  Everyone is pretty excited around here.  They all bounced out of bed this morning and chitter chattered all morning about our trip.  Oh one other thing they might be excited about is that we are having our little Christmas tonight at home so that we don't have to haul all our gifts along!

{Cold}

{Brrrrr.....!}
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Project 52: Week 47 ~ Nature

Look at that I missed two weeks in a row!  Life has been pretty wild around here lately!  :)  I am hoping that we getting back to a norm and I can continue on with my picture posts!  :p

Nature doesn't have a whole lot to offer at this time of year, but I do enjoy these fuzzy little flowers and the colors:

Project 52: Week 44 ~ Hands/Feet

This is such a fun age (seems like I say that about a lot of ages) at half a year when baby is rolling around and sucking on fingers and toes alike! They are so flexible. And they don't stay little for long!

Project 52: Week 42 ~ Story Board

We are down to only 10 more weeks of this year already!  Where does time go?  As the year has gone on my memory to make my post gets worse and worse!  I took pictures at the beginning of last week, but with the busyness of the long weekend, totally forgot to put them up!  So here are my pictures for last Friday!

The berries on the bushes are giving way to fall and are covered with wrinkles!  These are the only wrinkles I saw this week, besides this ol' lady's!

Project 52: Week 40 ~ Movement

This week I have a series of pictures. A few weeks ago I was at mother and daughter camp and there were some friends there that really can do gymnastics like nobody's business. My girls, having a pretty keen interest in the sport themselves, were quite impressed and were learning new moves right along side them.  Ever since, it has been acrobatics many hours a day.  I think they are on their hands as much as their feet these days.  I need some more practice with "movement" photography, as these are a little blurry, but here are the results!

First we have walking on the hands:

Next is the back walk-over:

And don't forget the cartwheel:

Red Leaves!

Fall is just brushing the tips of the trees in our yard!  I welcome this time of the year as it brings crisp cool mornings and evenings, apples, bonfires, pumpkins, hayrides....the list goes on!  The part I love best is the changing of the trees and vibrant red is my most favorite of all!

Project 52: Week 39 ~ Sweet

We attempted melons again this year in our garden and for the first time we have been harvesting large juicy watermelons and soft SWEET cantelope!!  Our first watermelon weighed in at around 15 pounds.  We have eaten 3 more since, all just as big or bigger! YUMM.....

Project 52: Week 38 ~ Outside the Lines

With my three littles at home this year I have been trying to go outside the lines and take some time aside and do something with them every day.  Just to get away from the daily grind for a short time even to have story time, build a train track for them to play with or print some activities for them.  They just love it! Today we painted some paper plate apples and also had story time!

Go see what Outside the Lines means to Amber.

Project 52: Week 37 ~ Emotion

It is always with mixed emotions that I send the kids on the big yellow bus after the summer is over....

But as you can see, they are all very excited.  Mr. N. on the end is just starting kindergarten this year!

Project 52: Week 35 ~ The Table at Mealtime

Well this isn't really what you expect with that title, but I have been so busy I hardly have time to sit down and eat let alone take a picture of it! {Which would really be something to see!!} This is from my daughter's birthday.  She comes after 3 boys in a row so her older sisters were teaching her how to be a girl.  She is getting the hang of it now!
